All doors sold under this warranty (except those expressly excluded from this warranty by Gravley Doors) are warranty by Gravley Doors for Two (2) years from date of shipment, and, at the time of the shipment, to be of good material and workmanship and to be free of defects which would render said doors unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary recommended use.
If guaranteed doors are found to contain defects as stated above, Gravley Doors, at their option may (1) repair the door(s) without charge, (2) replace the door(s) without charge or (3) refund the price paid for the door(s). If, at the time a door shipment is received, said door(s) is found to have a defect(s) which can be reasonable discovered by inspection of each doors(s), the receiver of the door(s) must, prior to hanging or fitting and within 30 days, send written notice of discovered defect(s) to Gravley doors. If a defect(s) is discovered or occurs after a door is fitted and hung, written notice of said defect(s) must be sent to Gravley Doors within two years from the date of shipment. Gravley Doors will not be liable for any doors(s) replaced or repaired without its written consent.
Matters excluded from this warranty
Unsatisfactory service or appearance caused by failure to follow the “Handling, Job Finishing and Installation Instructions” set fourth herein is not covered by this warranty.
- The appearance of field finished doors in not warranty in any event.
- Natural variation in color of texture of wood is not to be considered as defects.
- he warranty against ward does not apply to door(s) that are improperly hung or do not swing freely.
- This warranty does not cover any deterioration caused by failure to protect and seal all exposed surfaces and edges of the door or doors finished with water base paint or stain.
- Warranty does not cover any warp for any door larger than 3.6 wide and 8.0 tall.
- Doors painted Black (Dark Colors) and exposed to the sun will not be warranted.
- Damage caused beyond the control of Gravley Doors, including, but not limited to earthquake, storm, tornado, or other acts of nature will not be covered under this warranty.
- This warranty does not cover any exterior door used with a glass storm door that has un-vented glass.
- This warranty does not cover any door hung in a location with unprotected opening for exposure to direct sun or rain under normal conditions.
